Oh boy, it's been a long while.

I've got a job now, so it's pretty hard to draw anything. So at the moment I can only do really quick random stuff to practice and maintain my skills.

I wonder if I'll ever continue this. I've a history of neglecting fanart pieces.
It's not turning out really well, I still have the blur curse thing, but if I get through this, I'll work on the other characters.

Faces are hard.

There's nothing easy about art, whether one likes it or not. When you get unwanted results, it's a horrible losing feeling, but some choose to not give up that easily.


This is what I'm working on at the moment. By the time I finished linearting the face, I started to hate it. It wasn't the "look" I desired, and it reminded me of the stuff I did for some kid's magazine. Drawing scary wide-eyed happy faces after wide-eyed happy faces, under judgement and scrutiny, is not exactly fun lol XD.
Changes are not that obvious, but you might see how I made the irises more spherical. I'm not very fond of oval anime eyes unless the character happens to be the "HAI HAPPY DESU" sort.


This is something less recent which I take my time to work on. The face went through a hell lot of different stages. I remembered it was that very week that I created the 6th face, was happy with it, and then my motherboard died. Man... glad I got it back, though it left me really broke. I'm still thinking of altering the face, as it somewhat resembles... someone with loads of money.

Portrait Day!

It was my third time attending OIC's Portrait Day. I must say I HAVE to bring paints with me from now on. It takes alot of speed to do a painted drawing, I usually start coloring the moment the patrons leave but damn! I love the end products! *sense of accomplishment*


I've thought of dropping my Jovi markers for next month onwards because they're not great at blending, but one man's trash(or I'd say artistic preference) is another man's treasure. I managed to sell a drawing I colored with those markers. FIRST SALE YESSS! Even I saw someone snapping a picture of it on his phone and giving compliments. Whoa. Alright. XD

Oh, oh yes... I've to remember to bring smaller change next time!

Sometimes when I get too engrossed in drawing, I just forget to eat. Then my stomach would cramp up and I'll get a headache and feel dizzy. XD

HELLO AGAIN NEGLECTED BLOG

Ah... I'm pathetic at keeping things updated.

A week ago, I got my laptop back, and my precious data back. LUCKY. But damn the cost was ARGH.

I came across this blog by Joe Sparks and thought of doing mini doodles to post here every week. It'll be good for me, to improve and stuff.

So now and then, I'll be sketching stuff like Gaian avatars, random celebrities, etc... and put them up here!

In the meanwhile, this place needs a bit of updating.
