Turning Back Time

Livejournal, where my personal blog is, has somehow blocked my IP address. So now I bring to you SRZ Life Issues!

I've always wanted to go to art school and study fine art. It's the equivalent of wanting to live in a hugeass mansion, only better.

The biggest issue that stands in my way is my job. I swear, if the people I work with are all certified a**h***s, I would tender my resignation right away and head for it. However, that's not the case. I've found home working in my current company. Even if I am about to collapse from doing infinite rounds of amendments on a design, I am kept alive and laughing thanks to all the wonderful people I work alongside with. Plus, it all pays off with money and toys.

I had once worked in a company where I, as well as other employees before me, were treated like trash. It was a very short employment, but up till now, I have not forgotten how much it hurt. The odds of landing in a company like that are probably one in a hundred, but I'm not willing to go through any of that again. That is why I cannot just easily give up my current job to study in a field that is so questionable.

Perhaps, I would go for a diploma next year. This year, I'll be applying for a short night course in painting. That's all I can afford for now. Design school had been painfully expensive, it's best that I earn back a little more to cover for that before I attempt to pursue a proper education in Fine Arts.

Oh boy, it's been a long while.

I've got a job now, so it's pretty hard to draw anything. So at the moment I can only do really quick random stuff to practice and maintain my skills.

It's not turning out really well, I still have the blur curse thing, but if I get through this, I'll work on the other characters.
